Judging Criteria
-
Technical Skill
Winners should have projects that took talent and problem solving skills to create. A project need not be finished to show skill; demonstration of impressive sections of the code and algorithms are enough to qualify them. -
Creativity
The more unique and creative the hack, the better! General aesthetics and polish of the hack, as well as the creativity of the concept, count towards this criterion. -
Application / Usefulness
While this is not required, big bonus points if you design a feasible system for getting something done! Any sort of tool or social good hack can fall under this criterion. Think of how your project applies beyond the scope of this hackathon.
